Programs
Classes are scheduled within "programs" (detailed
below) that are held throughout the year:
Note: Many ask whether we have a Winter program, there is
none, winter (4th week in
December to the 3rd week in March) falls within our Spring
program.
Registration
Go to Registration for details
on signing up for lessons and refund policies.
Record Card and Badges
For all programs: at the last lesson a record card
is issued to each participant indicating their accomplishments
and a badge given if the requirements of the level
have been successfuly met.
It's possible for children to work on two levels in the 15
lesson sessions (Spring and Fall programs). When a level is
completed a badge will be awarded and the child will begin
working on the goals for the next level with the same instructor
in the same class.
Make-Up Policy
If a child is absent, due to illness only, we offer our clients
a make-up lesson with a maximum of two make-up lessons per
session (not transferrable from session to session). If
your child is entitled to a make-up lesson it is up to you
to contact our office.
Make-up lessons are scheduled where there is space in a class
of the same level at a time suitable to you. If we are unable
to schedule a make-up lesson, we will put your name on a waiting
list and call when a spot becomes available.
If you know in advance that your child will miss his/her
regular lesson for any reason - please advise the office
immediately (preferably giving 12 hours notice). We have limited
spots available for make-up lessons and your child's spot
may be used for someone else waiting for a make-up lesson.
By letting us know your child will miss his/her lesson, we
do not automatically put them on the waiting list for a make-up
lesson.
In order to offer make-up lessons, we need your co-operation.
If you do not call in or let us know in advance of your child's
absence, the make-up system will not work.
